Ch.Alabama is sired by our Ch. Cowboy and out of our Ch. Bo.  He is OFA certified hips and elbows. He has a marvelous temperament and personifies the  soundness and trainability we feel is so important in a German Shepherd Dog. In the litters he has sired to date, he has proven that he passes those traits on to his offspring, along with substantial bone, dark rich pigment,correct type and structure.

   Like his mother, Bama started his quest for the Championship by winning from the puppy classes. Then, after taking off a year to mature, Bama went out and finished by winning a number of Bests of Breed and Best Opposite over Specials along the way. What an exciting time that was. Bama went on to a successful career as a Special, wit h multiple group wins.

  Alabama has a wonderful temperament and just loves to play with the grandchildren when they come to visit. He is a delight to take anywhere.

   Bama is retired from the ring now, but continues to travel to the shows with us. He is a wonderful friend and companion and we are so greatful that his pups are following in his “pawprints”. We recently retired him from standing at stud also and send our sincere Thanks to the many people who used him and commented to positively on his puppies.

   Alabama is a wonderful representative of the breed and his temperament and intelligence fully embody the German Shepherd standard.  As breeders we look not only at the present, but also towards the future - and feel very comfident in the contribution Bama has made.
